  • Rising 1-Year Heifers: up 40.69%
  • Breeding Bulls: up 22.79%

These gains are driven by a combination of strong export demand, tight supply, and improvements in genetics and feeding systems—a positive signal for producers and stakeholders across the board.

 

Dairy Cattle

Dairy Cattle values are showing significant momentum across the board, with especially strong gains in younger stock:

  • Rising 1-Year Steers/Bulls: up 65.30%
  • Rising 3-Year Steers/Bulls: up 55.03%
  • Rising 1-Year Heifers: up 48.96%

What’s Driving the Growth?
This surge is powered by rising global dairy demand, higher milk payouts, and increased investment in herd quality and productivity.

 

Sheep

There are robust upward trends across the board here, with category increases ranging from 26% to 46%. Key highlights include:

  • Ewe Hoggets: up 45.54%
  • Mixed Age Wethers: up 40.51%
  • Mixed Age Ewes: up 32.84%
  • Breeding Rams: modest rise of 0.32%
