Life Admin: The Stuff You Should Know

What a fantastic evening.
This week we joined Craigs Women’s Wealth and Apogee Legal for Life Admin: The Stuff You Should Know — an evening designed around some of the financial, legal and investment decisions that are incredibly important, but often get pushed down the list when life is busy.
We talked about everything from understanding your financial position and investing, through to relationships and separation, trusts, succession, ageing parents, estate planning and preparing for retirement.
One of the themes that came through strongly was that you don’t need to be an expert in everything — but you do need to understand enough to participate confidently in the decisions that affect your financial future.
For me, that means knowing what you own, what you owe, how things are structured, what you are working towards, and having the right advisers around you when the decisions become more complex.
The feedback afterwards was incredibly positive. People told us the discussion was relevant, practical and genuinely useful — which was exactly what we hoped the evening would be.
A big thank you to Craigs Women’s Wealth for bringing the event together, to Apogee Legal for hosting us, and to everyone who came along and contributed to such an engaged and thoughtful discussion.
There is clearly an appetite for more conversations like this — intelligent, practical conversations about money, wealth and the decisions that shape our lives.
Because good financial outcomes rarely happen by accident. They come from understanding your position, asking good questions and making deliberate decisions early.
