Xero subscription prices are changing from October 2026

Xero has announced changes to its subscription pricing, effective from 1 October 2026. If Xero is part of how you manage your farm or business finances, here's what the change means and when you'll actually see it.
What's changing
From 1 October 2026, Xero's monthly subscription prices (excluding GST) will move to:
Ignite $37 | Grow $89 | Comprehensive $117 | Ultimate $135
If you run Xero Payroll for more than 10 employees on an Ultimate plan, the price for each additional employee is also increasing, from $1 to $2 per employee per month (excluding GST).
When you'll see it
As we invoice Xero subscriptions annually in advance, this change won't hit your account straight away. The updated pricing will be reflected in your next annual subscription renewal from April 2027 onwards. There's nothing you need to do in the meantime.
Why we're telling you now
We'd rather give you plenty of notice than have this catch you by surprise at renewal time. Knowing what's coming means you can factor it into your budgeting well ahead of time, particularly if you're already working through cashflow or financial planning for the year ahead.
